Before you go to Walgreens
Ask for the emailed copy at the counter: it's free, and it's the file you'd upload if you renew online. Leave glasses and hats off, and wear a top that isn't white. Walgreens doesn't say what happens if the State Department rejects the photo, so check the print with the associate before you pay.
