Report a problem with the tool
If the tool measured a photo wrong, a button didn't work or a page didn't load, tell us what happened. It helps to include:
- the page you used, such as the US passport photo maker or the checker;
- your phone or computer, and your browser;
- what you expected, and what the tool did instead.
Please don't attach your photo. The tool never uploads it, and we don't need it to look into a problem.
Tell us about a rule that changed
Every rule the tool checks comes from an official source, and each photo page shows when we last checked it. If an official page now says something different, send us the link. We'll check it and update the page and the tool.
What we can't help with
Passport Photo at Home is an independent website, not a government office or a passport service. We can't see or change your application, and we can't tell you whether a photo will be accepted.
- US passport applications, status and letters: contact the State Department through its passport contact page.
- Visas and the DV lottery: use the official instructions for your visa or program year on travel.state.gov.
- Other countries' passports and visas: contact that country's passport office, embassy or visa center.
Privacy
Please don't email your photo, passport number, Social Security number or any other ID number. The privacy policy explains how the site handles your photos and data.
